i heart faces "hilarious outtakes"

This week it is all about hilarious outtakes at i heart faces . It does not get much easier than that with photo subjects ages eight and under.... The pictures that mean the most to me, the ones that end up getting printed up and stuck in a frame usually end up being the unplanned, super silly outtakes. They are always my favorite because they make me laugh or even roll my eyes. The picture just simply come to life. The outtakes are where personality comes through instead of standard poses making anyone's pictures identical to well, anyone else's pictures of families & children. In my beach town, we all have great posed shots of our kids in front of the beach or the marina. In our homes we all have pictures of our children posed with big, cheesy smiles. I do love those pictures, there is always a place on my bookshelf for them. Yet there is usually a larger place for a picture of my daughter at home posed with a big, cheesy smile, chocolate chip pancakes, and well, you can see the rest....

i heart faces "i wanna dance"!

This week's challenge is a fun one at i heart faces, "i wanna dance"! My daughter calls herself a ballerina most days, but will shake her booty with the best of them at any given time. In this picture my daughter is dancing at the beach because, well, why not?!

Every evening in the lull before dinner I turn up the music as a call to my fellow dancers! My 8-year old son comes running from his homework, my 6-year old son comes skipping from legos & my 3-year old daughter throws on her tutu and we all just let go. We dance without talking some days, most days, we just laugh. Each child has their own individual moves and favorite songs to get down to. It is one of my favorite things to do with all three of my children. The whole world disappears and it's just us.
