Summer started yesterday at 1:40pm sharp. The kids had a little party with some friends in our yard playing on the water slide and creating their own version of the world cup. They ate tons of sweets, ice cream and hotdogs. They laughed with friends, danced in the dark to Bruce Springsteen, caught firelies, went to bed way too late, slept in, ate a late breakfast, went strawberry picking, watched the World Cup and ate chicken wings, etc. Not too bad for the first 24 hours of summer vacation.

just caught up reading your posts! so cute the one below on besties! and i really need to get on my game and embrace summer. maybe it gets easier as the kids get older... the baby slows me down big time!
